Actual Wedding Day Photography Bookings for Year 2009

I have started to receive many inquiry for weddings for 2009 lately and I am sure most Chinese families in Malaysia or Singapore would be looking forward to see the 2009 Chinese calendar. And by looking of the best date for marriage, the Chinese calendar is the guide for the newly wed to achieve prosperity, wealth & health.

The goal to achieve 50 couples for Year 2008 is within my grasp and my wife has been telling me that 50 couples is achievable. Yeah!!! having one leg kick two soccer balls is a tremendous effort to move forward and without looking back what I have failed to achieve for the past couple years. Being a graduate from United States, working in Malaysia is never easy. Able to achieve such feat of making memorable moments for all my clients is my priority. The Year 2008 New Year's wish list in my January 2008 posting in this blog is achievable. No doubt about it.

The best part is, I am now working hand-in-hand with some of the Top Wedding Photographers in Malaysia. Hopefully by June, I am able to venture into studio photography as well as pre-wedding. Also, I have already listed the plans for Year 2009 and hope my dreams is achievable too! So folks! when you put your heart and soul into something you want it to be, you can achieve it, just like what I have done. We are the one who decide who we want to become and with the three "H" words becoming a part of who I am, I believe I can do it. The actual letter for the words are "H"umble, "H"ardworking and "H"onesty.

Scheduling Your Wedding Date & Booking The Photographer & Videographer

I'm having headache myself these few days. You see, my September month bookings are packed! It's like 10 - 12 weddings and I had to hand a few jobs to my colleague - Darren & Alex to assist me. Both Darren & Alex are experienced wedding photographers and they have been doing these for years!

I have two more new wedding photographers who will join my team soon : Chew & Paul Kong. I will post their work in my blog when time comes.

For brides to be, please always check your wedding date soon, at least 1 year ahead. Its such a pure coincidence as I kept turning people down lately. It's like someone booked me on for 1st December 2008 wedding and the next day, another person will enquiry me for the same wedding date but I am booked! It happened so many times that I had to turn down.

Latest casulty is one of my old client. Her sis got married end of last year and they just confirmed the wedding "chut mun" date two days ago but I'm already booked! Arrhhgggh!!!! Felt sad as I always wanting to cover her wedding very much (yeah... she's a pretty lady and will be a great bride too!)

Therefore, brides-to-be and bridegroom-to-be, please plan your schedule if you have any intention of hiring any videographers or photographers.

My basic package price starts from RM 1,500 onwards for Year 2008.

Thanks and thank you all for your support!

Fujifilm logo usage for pictures taken by MWP (My Wedding Photographer)

At last! I have got confirmation from the Regional Sales Manager & the AP department of Fujifilm Malaysia that MWP (My Wedding Photographer) allows to use the logo of Fujifilm in all the pictures taken by me.

In wedding photography, most photographers uses Nikon or Canon cameras. So far I haven't seen any wedding photographers using Olympus or Sony Alpha cameras for wedding day photography but I will not be surprised that both Olympus & Sony users will start to create a prominent role in Actual Wedding Day photography.

On my side, I'm an avid Fuji Finepix users. Having all the S2, S3 & S5 pro camera series and the Prosumer camera (Fuji Finepix S7000), this has added to my collection in making my photography work more outstanding.

Fuji is a well-known film maker and has been involved in the R&D to developer better digital compacts and digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex) cameras. Having ventured into the dSLR, the Fuji camera surpasses the mark in Actual Wedding Day photography expectations. Having said that, there were results of comparison between a Fuji S5 Pro Vs Nikon D300 Vs Canon 40D. The author for that review indicated that Fuji color comes out the best, therefore... being a cult user for Fujifilm Digital SLRs, I am promoting the use of Fujifilm equipment.

With this, I would like to thank Fujifilm for making the dSLR one of the best cameras for Actual Day Wedding Photography.
