What is so significant about this date?
The answer is... many couples are getting married on this date! For the past many years in the wedding photography industry, at least 30 couples has enquired from me for actual day wedding photography on this very date. Is this a HOT date or what?
Steven & Jennifer booked me on 23rd November 2007, almost 11 months ago ya?!

Calvin & Karen (Update) - 26 September 2008

This is an interesting wedding. Why? I met two people whom I knew. One of them was my classmate whom I haven't met since 1993. We were in the same class together... Let's see... it was ENL 103 (American University Programme from INTI). I was there for my colleage years in 1992-1993 and was attached to INTI from 1997-1999 as a Student Advisor and had a short stint at HELP Institute for 3 months. Just in case you guys didn't know. We (2 others friends of mine whom I lost touch) started Photography Club in INTI in 1992. We are the founder of the club in INTI Subang and subsequently, I was the advisor for the club in INTI College Malaysia (Nilai) in 1998 when INTI started the new campus that year.
I have lost touch with all my friends whom I studied together during all those years. When internet was out, I could still remember that I was busy chatting with mIRC in 1996 before I graduated with my bachelor in 1997. At that time, HOTMAIL & AOL was a hit in 1996-1997 in US and later that year in 1997, I came back to Malaysia to pursue my career.

Ah, and another person whom I met was my client who came to my office for his wedding stuff. Kind of a small world isn't it? Then the following day at another wedding at Tai Thong Ampang, I bumped into my ex-collegemate again whom I met the night before! Isn't amazing?!
Also, I bumped into the same make-up artist - Meoki. She's just like an old friend of mine. The 1st time I met here was a sheer coincidence because the 1st time I met her was a special date. It was July 7, 2007 (7.7.07). How can I forget?

Calvin & Karen - 28 September 2008
September was a hot month for chinese as its the month where many couples tie the knot and one of the couple is Calvin & Karen. Both of them booked our services months ago but I was booked by another couple on the same day. Check out our schedule (click on the link). So, I recommended one of our photographer - Darren to cover their wedding. Darren, one of the most experienced wedding photographer took their wedding day and I would like to thank the couple of placing their trust in Darren to deliver such a wonderful finished product. The pictures worth more than the money that can buy and it gives them a wonderful memories.
I took approximately 1,200 to 1,700 photos for each couple's wedding and having a post processing job takes so much of my time. We return all the photos to all our couples in softcopies (of course) and turning good pictures into a great picture does worn me out. Imaging this though, total number of photos for September 2008 that I have to go through is approximately 15,000 pictures. Amazing isn't it?

Ah... disposable underwear, worn outside rather than inside. Poor "heng tai"...

Chee Keong & Sue-Yin - 4 October 2008
Sue-Yin & her hubby took care of me when I got down to Seremban at about 5PM yesterday. What I say so? They served me orange juice & 7-Up so I get my energy back! Wah, I like this couple lahh... they are so friendly, very accommodating and they love each other. Both of them are in 7-Heaven!
I managed to get some outdoor shots before we proceed for a small traditional chinese tea-ceremony before the wedding reception at Royal Bintang Hotel (used to be called Royal Adelphi Hotel) in Seremban. I was there exactly a year ago capturing a client of mine from UK. Just like Sue-Yin & her hubby, it's the first time I met them as they communicate with me via e-mail as both of them are from Singapore. Sue-Yin is from Seremban and her hubby is from Singapore.
Thanks again to Sue-Yin & Chee Keong for engaging me as their wedding photographer. Have a great wedding and a safe journey home.
