Adam & Melissa Wedding Day (Traditional Indian Wedding) - 21 June 2008
End of last year, I was approached by an Indian couple asking me if I could take traditional Indian Wedding Photography. The last one I had was in 2002, then in 2006 and 2007, I had Indian couples but they are Christians. Therefore, their wedding were held in churches. Guess what? I didn't managed to get this job from the Indian couple as I have nothing to show them that as a wedding day photographer, I am used to take chinese & christians wedding but haven't really explore into indian weddings before. The couple which I took in year 2002 was in film format and I didn't kept any of those portfolios! Gosh! How times changed.
Digital photography has changed the world and this year alone, based on my rough calculations, I should be taking at least 70,000 pictures. Which means, I will add 70k of shutter count to both my Fujifilm cameras!
Melissa, who is still a student from The One Academy had their wedding ceremony (traditional indian/ceylonese style wedding) in Taman Puchong Perdana. Note that she's wearing a veil, unlike other indian brides. Her hubby, Adam is from Poland. I'm surprised myself that all the pictures taken came out well. Check it below!
I am glad that both Adam & Melissa put their trust in me and I'm glad I produced amazing results. You will notice that most of the shots are taken with "slow speed". You can see motion, details and the results are simply splendid! I enjoyed every moment of the event and I had fun!
