Mok & Khim's Wedding on 5 January 2008

What a great year to start with a great wedding in Johor Bahru. It took me about 3 1/2 hours drive from Bandar Sunway to Skudai, JB. Yeah... what a trip. It's Khim & Mok's wedding day. Eventhough the morning event is pretty short even though I started early (at 6am), I managed to capture those great shots.

Managed to stop by Air Hitam (1 hours from JB) to Kluang @ CinCin Restaurant at Jln Mersing and took a pic of the Dragon Fruit! wow! sweet! There's also a Organic Fruit Farm on the way to Kluang. Wahhh... loved these place man!

I would like to dedicate this photo to a friend I met in Gerik, Perak when I was there for a wedding last week. He shared this type of photography work with me and I'm sure we are able to work again in near future.

Hoe & Ing Wedding Day on 29 December 2007

Have anyone of you went to Gerik (Perak) before? Well, you have to exit Kuala Kangsar (new exit @ North South Expressway after Ipoh) and you are bound to go all the way straight up to Gerik, a small town up north of Perak (about half hour from the border of Thailand.

Hoe & Ing wedding was planned about a year ago, and of course, I came well prepared with all my equipment and tripod as there's a big huge relative photo shoot after the wedding dinner. Anyway, this time around, my type of photography is a little different as all my favourites are more object oriented, instead of wide angle photo shoot. Note the "Just Married" car plate. Artwork & plate are done by PerfectWeddingz (the supplier for www.beautifulweddingcards.com/justmarried.html). Those who plan their wedding, better check out their wedding gifts. It could be something you will definately get for your wedding day.

Oh yeah, end of the day, I had about 1,220 shots taken for Hoe & Ing. I think I will have sleepless nights going through the photos before Chinese New Year, haha...

Hope you like the pictures as much as I do. My New Year resolution is of course, to make MWP (My Wedding Photographer) as one of the most prominent Actual Wedding photographer company in Malaysia and hitting my target of 50 couples this year. Yeah, it will not be easy but with all my preserverance and "ai pia cia eh ia" (that's hokkien word means "slog like hell, you will be a winner". Haha... hope that's the correct meaning.

Btw, did you notice that the bride does her own make-up?

Sheng Tsong & Ming Yan Wedding Day - 2 December 2007

This year I have had a few clients from Klang. This was indeed a great surprise to me too as I find that everyone speaks Hokkien dialect when I was with the bride & bridegroom's friends. The wonderful day started when I reached the bride's parent's house in Bandar Setia Alam (Shah Alam). This is a new location and amazingly, it's connected to Jln Meru. Wow! Time has changed. The road changed since the last 6 years or so when I was working in Sungai Buloh and go to Jln Meru factory to do stock take. Wow, times have passed.

Well, everyone was great and thanks to Ming Yan recommending me Monica (getting married in Feb 2008) to me. This year I think I have about 40 weddings which I attended as a wedding photographer and my target for the next year (2008) will be 50 weddings. It's not hard to achieve but still I have to get things going by completing all the photo editing and album artwork rendered to me. Enough said, here are some nice shots which I really loved to share with all of you. Enjoy!

Waiting for the bridegroom to arrive...

Introducing "my shadow"... Haven't taken a picture of my own shadow before...

That is an adult diaper. What a nasty game!!! Haha..

This wasn't taken in the studio. It's the newly wed couple bedroom!

Tze Keat & Shir Li Wedding Dinner - KL Tower (1st Dec 2007)

It was another exciting dinner event! This is in fact my first time taking a wedding dinner in KL Tower at the height of 421 meters or 1,381 feet above sea level (which is in fact, taller than KLCC! This telecommunication/ broadcasting tower cum observation deck has a revolving restaurant and a banquet deck. Tze Keat & Shirli dinner was held at Mega View Banquet Deck. You will see some of the pictures taken that night and believe me, none of the guest will ever forget this memorable event.

Danny & Pauline Wedding Day - 17 November 2007

Waaa... food food foodddd!!!!! ah! I loved the food. You know what? This was the 2nd wedding I had on the 17th November late afternoon. They arrived from Ipoh @ 4PM, reaching USJ 3D in Subang Jaya. I never knew USJ 3D existed!!!! Danny & Pauline was supposed to book me for their wedding day in Ipoh but Andy & Christine (in my earlier blog I posted today) engaged me much much earlier. It was a little disappointing as Danny is the cousin's of my old client whom I took their wedding last year.

Anyway, all the pics turned out well. Danny's wife is so lovely... and she speaks fluent Japanese!!!! She's a Ipoh girl by the way. Wah, why all pretty girls comes from Ipoh? My wife comes from Ipoh too! Hehe...

Well, the above pics are another new batch of great pictures to share with all of you out there. Cheers!
