Guan Chu & Lai Yee's Wedding Day - 9 March 2008 (Kota Baru, Kelantan)

It was a day of joy for me when I went to Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Megah at SS23 to vote for the state & parlimentary seat on the 8th of March. I was the first few to cast my vote that morning before I took at 3.50PM flight from LCCT to Kota Baru. I arrived there at 5PM sharp! Interestingly, Air Asia flight timing right now are very sharp! The arrive on time and leave ON time too!

I stayed over at Suria Hotel, at the heart of Kota Baru, which is just 10 minutes walk to Grand RiverView Hotel, which is next to the bank of Sungai Kelantan. It's the election today on the 8th and I can see the flags of PAS and BN flying above my head. Frankly speaking, Kota Baru wasn't that bad at all.

I woke up at 5.30AM the next day and had a morning walk to the hotel where Lai Yee lived for the night before her "chut mun" day. It wasn't a bad hotel though... Quite nice interior. Anyhow, I managed to take her doing her hair by her hairstyles before her make-up artist start her work. Yeah! It was a great day too when all of us stayed up late at night to hear the good news of the opposition coalition taking over Perak, Kedah, Penang state government and monopolize the parlimentary seat for the Federal Territory (Kuala Lumpur).

Ah! yes! we had a great day to start with. The bride and bridegroom went through a chinese-thai custom. First time I'm going through such customs. NOTE that these are some of my favourite shots that I would like to share with everyone.
